Who is Martin Kove?
Martin Kove (March 6, 1946) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as John Kresse in The Karate Kid, The Karate Kid II, and The Karate Kid III. He also played in television series called Cobra Kai.

Childhood
Martin Kove was born in Brooklyn, New York. Although his father and mother’s name are not known, he has a sibling. In addition, he belongs to a Jewish-American family.
As for education, he joined Valley Stream Central High School. After graduation, he enrolled in ITT Technical Institute and graduated.
Career
Martin Kove was first noticed after his role in The Karate Kid as sensei John Kreese. Upon playing a traitorous helicopter pilot in Rambo: First Blood Part II in 1985, he made his appearance as Kreese in The Karate Kid Part II in 1986 and The Karate Kid Part III in 1989. Gordon Doversola Shihan, a well-known black belt, taught him Okinawa-te Karate.
From then on he has played in multiple movies and TV series. Shootfighter: Fight to the death, Wyatt Earp, Crocodile 2: Death Swamp, Max Havoc: Ring of Fire, Flacon Song, The Extendables, Traded, Jokers Wild, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and VFW are some of his credits.
Similarly, in television series, he has appeared in dozens of series as a guest. Code R, We’ve Got Each Other, The Edge of Night, Cagney & Lacey, Hard Time on Planet Earth, War Wolves, Tosh.0, and finally Cobra Kai are his notable credits.

Martin Kove in Cobra Kai
Martin Kove played the role of John Kresse. In The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai, he is the main villain, while in The Karate Kid Part III, he is the minor antagonist. He also appears in The Karate Kid Part II’s opening sequences.
In Cobra Kai, he only appears at the end of season 1. After his appearance in season 2, he plays as a sensei of Cobra Kai dojo. He teaches his students and tells them to show no mercy towards their opponents.
He has played along with many famous actors like William Zabka, Courtney Henggeler, Hannah Kepple, etc.
