Jake Borelli was born in Columbus, Ohio, United States. He was born to his father, Mike Borelli, and mother, Linda Borelli. Also, he has two older brothers, Ben and Zack. He joined art school after getting interested in painting and art where he won a national art competition. Similarly, He graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 2009 and went to the University of California, Los Angeles, and Ohio State University. In 2017, he played Freddie Myers in Reality High and Jon in In Searching. The same year, he appeared as Dr. Levi Schimitt in Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19. Two years later, he played in two short movies A Cohort of Guests and How’s the World Treating You?.

In 2020, He appeared last time in The Thing About Harry as Sam Baselli and has not appeared since.

Jake Borelli came out as gay on his Instagram on November 2, 2018, after his first gay male kiss on the show; Grey’s Anatomy.
